About Us

IntoTruth previously known as LogosLife ministries was born in 2010 when Marius received his PhD in Theology from Bible University, felt the tug of the Holy Spirit to evangelise a specific community in Hazyview Mpumalanga which was not reached by the church. Marius reached out to the community in the environments they found themselves in, and slowly these members were pulled into a weekly Bible study and finally introduced into a local church.

This ministry was moved to Mozambique where the same model applied. However this journey was cut short when company Marius was working for went belly up and funds ran dry. Marius was force to leave Mozambique and had to return to Johannesburg to find employment to take care of his family. Unfortunately this set back also led to his divorce. With the grace of God Marius found the strength to rise up from losing everything in his life.

When we are weak, our Lord is strong. The truth of this was very apparent in Marius' life. Logoslife Ministries underwent a change in a coffee shop in Melville called Cuppa Cafe - a marvelous Christian coffee shop with Christian literature all over and a really amazing owner.

What happened in this little coffee shop change the direction of Marius' mistry forever.  He was having a conversation with the owner about sin in children and one of the patrons stood up, forced himself into the conversation and very militantly tried to force his opinion on the conversation. He shouted: "How dare you say people are sinners, who gave you the right to judge. Who are you to say this or that is wrong!!" Marius turned to him and asked him if we can never say that something is wrong in his option. The Atheist shouted in Marius' face: "You can't use the Bible to tell people what is wrong or right, that is forcing your religion on children, and that is child abuse!"

Marius calmly asked the man again: "Can we not say someone is doing something wrong. Should a child be allowed to cuss out a teacher, or steal a fellow students lunch, or lie to his teacher?"  The atheist remarked that these wrongs should not be a cause to tell them they are going to hell. Marius answered:"We are not focussing on people going to hell sir, that is why the Bible is the good news. We are telling people that we all sin and it is true, but our focus is to let everyone know there is a way out of hell and there is a way into heaven. The solution to the sin problem  is offered to us as a free gift of God - all we need to do is accept Jesus as our Lord and Saviour and turn from our sin and turn to Him. This offer is also available to you sir"

This conversation was not well received and the man looked like he was going to punch Marius so the shop owner stopped the conversation and asked the man and Marius to take their seats. Marius was shocked at the total hatred directed at him from this total stranger. When he spoke to other believers he found that this was not an isolated incident, but that many Christians face this on a daily basis, especially online.

Intotruth was born. Marius started Intotruth to help the Christian Family in their struggles with this world and its many challenges - like encounters with militant atheists, like the one in the coffee shop. Marius is a fantastic relationship counsellor, life coach, and listener. he is a great teacher, and most of all he loves Jesus with all his heart, and he loves God's people deeply.

Intotruth is the portal Marius now uses to minister to the body of Christ. It is a place for Christians to find solutions and answers to the world they are living in today that fits into the Biblical narrative.

More to the point and as a calling, this is our mission:

Eph 4:11-15
(11) And truly He gave some to be apostles, and some to be prophets, and some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers,
(12) for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.
(13) And this until we all come into the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a full-grown man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;
(14) so that we no longer may be infants, tossed to and fro and carried about by every wind of doctrine, in the dishonesty of men, in cunning craftiness, to the wiles of deceit.
(15) But that you, speaking the truth in love, may in all things grow up to Him who is the Head, even Christ;
