1Jn 1:5 And this is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all.

Jesus is God

Scripture is clear that Jesus created everything in the beginning, therefore, the creator in Genesis is Jesus. When Moses asked who he should say sent him, God said I AM. Jesus referred to himself as I AM, thereby stating that he is Jehovah of the old testament. Jesus is fully God and fully man.

( Exo 3:14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.
Joh 8:58 Jesus said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, Before Abraham came into being, I AM!)

Humanity

Humans were created in the image of God to have fellowship with the creator and to glorify Him. We were made to be stewards of this creation. Humans have purpose, but humanity sinned and fell from grace.

At Creation – (continuous and present in every human life)
Gen 1:26

Rom 2:14 For when the nations, who do not have the Law, do by nature the things of the Law, these, not having the Law, are a law unto themselves;
Rom 2:15 who show the work of the Law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and the thoughts between one another accusing or even excusing one another,
Rom 2:16 in a day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.
Rom 5:19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of One shall many be made righteous.

The Man/Woman in Christ

When we come to Christ, He forms in us a new creation and shows us who we are in Him.

2Ti 1:7 For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Salvation

Salvation is by Christ alone, by grace alone, through faith alone, not of any works, and is available to all humanity.

Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Rituals

We adhere to only two rituals found in scripture

Mat 28:19 Therefore go and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, (one time event)
Luk 22:19 And He took bread and gave thanks, and He broke it and gave it to them, saying, This is My body which is given for you, this do in remembrance of Me.
Luk 22:20 In the same way He took the cup, after having dined, saying, This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is being poured out for you.

Law

For us there is one law, the fulfillment of all law, which is Christ. Christ in us our hope of glory and we in Him.

Mat 7:12 Therefore all things, whatever you desire that men should do to you, do even so to them; for this is the Law and the Prophets.
Mat 22:37 Jesus said to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.
Mat 22:38 This is the first and great commandment.
Mat 22:39 And the second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
Mat 22:40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets
Rom 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness for everyone who believes.
Rom 8:2 But the Law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.
Gal 3:23 But before faith came, we were kept under Law, having been shut up to the faith about to be revealed.
Gal 3:24 So that the Law has become a trainer of us until Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
Gal 3:25 But faith coming, we are no longer under a trainer.

Lifestyle

Our lifestyle must reflect our faith. If we know God, then our lives should reflect this. Always pray, always rejoice, always strive for holiness.

Php 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I say, Rejoice!
Php 4:5 Let your moderation be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.
Php 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.
Php 4:7 And the peace of God which passes all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Php 4:8 Finally, my brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are right, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think on these things.
1Th 5:15 See that none gives evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue the good, both towards one another and towards all.
1Th 5:16 Rejoice evermore.
1Th 5:17 Pray without ceasing.
1Th 5:18 In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
1Th 5:19 Do not quench the Spirit.
1Th 5:20 Do not despise prophesying.
1Th 5:21 Prove all things, hold fast to the good.
1Th 5:22 Abstain from every appearance of evil.

Church

The body of believers is the church not the buildings, neither the denominations or just the church rulers.

1Co 12:25 that there not be division in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another.
1Co 12:26 And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; if one member is glorified, all the members rejoice with it.
1Co 12:27 And you are the body of Christ, and members in part.
Heb 10:25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
Heb 13:17 Yield to those leading you, and be submissive, for they watch for your souls, as those who must give account, that they may do it with joy and not with grief; for that is unprofitable for you.
Eph 2:19 Now therefore you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God,
Eph 2:20 and are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone,
Eph 2:21 in whom every building having been fitly framed together, grows into a holy sanctuary in the Lord;
Eph 2:22 in whom you also are built together for a dwelling place of God through the Spirit.

Rapture

Mat 24:30 And then the sign of the Son of Man shall appear in the heavens. And then all the tribes of the earth shall mourn, and they shall see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of the heaven with power and great glory.
Mat 24:31 And He shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.

Mat 24:38 For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day Noah entered into the ark.
Mat 24:39 And they did not know until the flood came and took them all away. So also will be the coming of the Son of Man.
Mat 24:40 Then two shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Mat 24:41 Two shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Mat 24:42 Therefore watch; for you do not know what hour your Lord comes.
1Co 15:51 Behold, I speak a mystery to you; we shall not all fall asleep, but we shall all be changed;
1Co 15:52 in a moment, in a glance of an eye, at the last trumpet. For a trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall all be changed.
1Co 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
1Th 4:13 But I would not have you ignorant, brothers, concerning those who are asleep, that you be not grieved, even as others who have no hope.
1Th 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will also bring with Him all those who have fallen asleep through Jesus.
1Th 4:15 For we say this to you by the Word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord shall not go before those who are asleep.
1Th 4:16 For the Lord Himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ shall rise first.
1Th 4:17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. And so we shall ever be with the Lord.

Spiritual World

There is a reality outside of our visible reality.

Luk 4:5 And the Devil, leading Him up into a high mountain, showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.
Luk 4:6 And the Devil said to Him, All this power I will give you, and the glory of them; for it has been delivered to me. And I give it to whomever I will.
Luk 4:7 Therefore if you will worship me, all shall be yours.
Luk 4:8 And Jesus answered and said to him, Get behind me, Satan! For it is written, “You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only shall you serve.”
1Ti 4:1 But the Spirit expressly says that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and teachings of demons
Heb 1:13 But to which of the angels, did He say at any time, “Sit on My right hand until I make Your enemies Your footstool?”
Heb 1:14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for those who shall be heirs of salvation?

Warning:
Col 2:18 Let no one defraud you, delighting in humility and worship of the angels, intruding into things which he has not seen, without a cause being vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,
Col 2:19 and not holding the Head, from whom all the body, having been supplied through the joints and bands, and having been joined together, will grow with the growth of God.
Rev 22:8 And I, John, saw and heard these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel showing me these things.
Rev 22:9 Then he said to me, Behold! See, do not do it! For I am your fellow-servant, and of your brothers the prophets, and of those who keep the Words of this Book. Do worship to God.
